 What is a laminate floor? The top
layer is a photograph of real wood or ceramic tiles, which is
printed on paper. Then, a very strong transparent protective
layer is applied to that paper. Using an extremely sophisticated
pressing technique, the floor is completed, and this imitation
of hardwood or ceramic tile becomes almost a match for the real
thing. A laminate floor is economical and durable.
